Welcome to UMS Fencing Club

Starting from this year, 2008, University Malaysia Sabah Fencing Club has established a new blog for the club. This blog will include new updates from the club activities, announment for every weeks training schedule and latest news from SFA(Sabah Fencing Association). Therefore we hope that club members will refer to this blog as often as possible to keep yourselves updated.

6th UMS Fencing Open Championship 2007/ 08

UMSFC successfully organised the 6th UMS fencing Open championship on 14th and 15th of March 2008 at Chancelor Hall, UMS. Below are some snapshots of that day ^_^

7th UMS Fencing Open Championship 2008/ 09

7th UMS Fencing Open Championship 2008/ 2009 was succesfully organised by UMSFC.

Some of our fencers achieved good result in the championship:

Kelvin Second Place for Men’s Foil

Yeo Siow Wee Third Place for Women’s Epee

At the recent Touche inter college & university 2008 competition, which were held at Garden International School, KL on 29th and 30th NOV 2008,  senior YEO SIOW WEE get GOLD medal for Women Individual Foil Event and BRONZE medal for Women Individual Epee Event while another senior YEO SHZE SIENG get BRONZE medal for Women Individual Foil Event.

Congratulation for their success!!! we deeply appreciate their hard work and thank you for their support…

Our fencing club members achieved excellent results in the most recent Inter-Uni and Inter-school Competition organised by SFA. The medalists are………

UMS 2008 Workshop + Family Day

well well well…again…once upon a time UMSFC had their 2008 workshop + family day at Karambunai Lagoon Park…on 10/8/08…..quite a nice place^^

UMSFC 2008 Annual Grand Meeting

Eto…..long long time ago, pada satu hari,di satu tempat we had our 2008 UMSFC AGM….altho it’s juz a simple ceremony, but we(2008 AJKs) promised to carry on our ‘ancestors’ goals & wills and try our best to improve our club..kamxia kamxia~
